Gilly and Stripes - Italian Charm Bracelets

What are Italian Charm Bracelets?

Italian Charm Bracelets are the latest fashion craze sweeping the UK, USA and other European countries. Many celebrities have been spotted wearing them and they are becoming increasingly popular here in the UK.

Italian Charm Bracelets are made up of a number of interchangeable stainless steel links that form a stretchy durable bracelet. You buy a starter bracelet which consists of 18 links (medium) and then choose as many charms as you wish replacing the original links with the charms, changing them to suit your mood personality or even outfit. You can have any number of charms on your bracelet i.e. you could have a charm on every other link leaving some of the original links in or you could start with just a couple. You can choose from a large selection of charms including birthstones, enamel, dangles or letters so you can personalize your bracelet making it unique. Whether you are designing your own personalised bracelet, adding to your current collection or buying as a special gift for friends and family these bracelets and charms are sure to please everyone.

What are postal orders?

Postal orders can be obtained from any UK post office - your item is usually shipped out within 1 working day of us receiving them as payment. Postal orders can either be crossed or uncrossed.

When you buy a postal order you receive a stub receipt, it is important that you keep this in case your postal order is lost in the post. The stub can be used by the post office to trace whether the postal order has been cashed or not.

Please make all postal orders payable to N C Lindsay

Do you accept cash?

We would prefer that cash is not sent especially if it is a large amount. If it is necessary to pay for your goods in cash, please contact us first and remember it is at your own risk.

Do you wait for cheques to clear before you post items?

It is necessary to wait until ALL funds have cleared before posting out goods. In the case of cheques it can take up to five working days from the day of banking before we can be certain of cleared funds. Therefore please allow 7-10 days before your goods are received.

Please make all cheques payable to N C Lindsay

How to attach a charm

Attaching a charm is easy. Each link has a spring loaded clasp mechanism inside the charm. Use your thumb to push towards the left on the front right side of the link (which will slide open the clasp). This clasp hooks into the opening on the right side of the second link (use your thumb to push towards the left on the front right side of this second link to better expose the opening). Hook the two links together at a 45-degree angle. The springs inside each link close, locking them together.
